My name is Dave "Rock" Cowles. 
I am a caricaturist, graphics artist, and web site designer located in 
Boiling Springs, South Carolina.

I specialize in what I call 3D caricatures. 
These are more of a digital sculpture than anything else, 
but they are very unique and popular. I also do short animations with them.

Caricature Photo Poses

Until fairly recently it had been rare for me to do non-3D Caricatures, but I took it back up. 
I am very happy with the rapid progress I have made trying different mediums, software, 
styles, and techniques.

The fine folks on the International Society of Caricature Artists forum are awesome and have been 
inspirational, supportive, and fun.

I don't do live events because I feel I can generally get much better results in the safety of my studio, taking more time, and adding greater accuracy for a better likeness and more humor.
